Technology Partners

To provide our customers with the most advanced and suitable technologies and solutions, we have developed strong, long term relationships with selected technology driven partners which help us delivering high quality and very competitive solutions and services.

ARM For more than 10 years already, Barco Silex is an "ARM Approved Design Center". This status and the participation to this program is only awarded to design houses that have been assessed, trained and equipped with the latest ARM technology and have shown a proven record of many successful ARM core-based SoC developments.

FARADAY As an ASIC/SoC specialist, we can interface with any foundry or ASIC vendor, but we have a very close foundry partnership with Faraday Technology Co in Taiwan who is a first class provider of IPs and ASIC/SoC solutions. This strong and close relationship, together with a long experience of technical collaboration, allows us to offer comprehensive and competitive SoC solutions and products for the European market.

FPGA Partners

Altera As an advanced user of their latest technologies and devices, Barco Silex has a strong and long term collaboration with Altera. We are member of the DSN program where we offer most of our IP portfolio on a wide range of Altera devices, together with first class Design Services.

Microsemi We have a long term relationship with Actel, now become Microsemi, especially in the field of Aeronautics and Defense where non volatile based solutions play an active role. For those applications, we can provide most of our IPs and Design Services on Actel most recent devices.

Xilinx Barco Silex is a certified member of the Xilinx Alliance Program. We use the latest technologies and devices, and we have a strong and long term collaboration with Xilinx, both for our Design Services and for our IP portfolio, which we can provide on the wide range of Xilinx devices.

ChipEstimate.com The ChipEstimate.com chip planning portal is an ecosystem comprised of over 200 of the world's largest IP suppliers and foundries. These companies all share in the common vision of helping the worldwide electronics design community achieve greater profitability and success. To date, a diverse global audience of over 27,000 users has joined the ChipEstimate.com community and has collectively performed over 100,000 chip estimations. Barco Silex is actively partnering  with chipestimate.com, to promote our world-class IPs.

Design & Reuse D&R is an IP portal providing a global collaboration network for sharing design resources in the electronics SoC industry. Barco Silex is one of the first partners of Design and Reuse offering qualified IP.

DSPValley DSP Valley is a technology network, focusing on the design of micro-electronics hardware and embedded software for signal processing systems, including image and sound processing, communication and navigation technologies, and any other ambient intelligence technology and all enabling design methodologies and tools. Application domains range from consumer and automotive electronics, to medical devices, communication networks and high tech machine construction. The proximity of the University of Leuven and the IMEC organization are valuing the membership.

VSF Video Services Forum, Inc. (VSF) is an international association composed of service providers, users and manufacturers dedicated to interoperability, quality metrics and education for video networking technologies.
